A practical method
A readiness and rollback plan
A release record with go/no-go evidence, observation owners, restoration steps and unresolved risks. Work through the prompts in your own notes. No information is submitted or saved here.
Identify the release
Record version, owner, destination, intended audience and irreversible actions. Do not assume a preview URL is isolated without checking bindings.
Name go/no-go gates
List rights, content, accessibility, security, privacy, support and operations checks. Attach evidence and a person authorized to accept each risk.
Define signals
Specify what would indicate a broken path, harmful content, privacy issue or overwhelmed support. Assign who watches and for how long.
Rehearse rollback
Write exact restoration steps, data-preservation questions, communications and the person who may invoke the stop. Test on an authorized copy.
Record the decision
After a rehearsal, document unresolved risks, approval or hold, and what would trigger another review. No publication follows from completing this worksheet.
Record the outcome
- What is the proposed next step, and who owns it?
- What evidence supports it, and what remains unknown?
- What would make you pause or change direction?
- When will the decision be reviewed?
Keep private details in your own records. This is a reading guide, not a submission form.
